Nvidia Shield TV is a capable Android TV streaming device, but it does not always offer every Android application through Google Play. If you want to use Showbox on a Shield, the usual method is sideloading: downloading an APK file and installing it manually rather than using the standard television app store.

The process is fairly simple when the APK is obtained from a trustworthy source and the device is prepared correctly. Before beginning, remember that Showbox availability, content rights, and application safety can vary by region.
